More than Beer - Tunisian Olive Oil

We talk all the time about ingredients for beer which usually makes us hungry enough to talk all the time about ingredients for food. One such ingredient is the ever inspiring olive oil.

Olive oil is a thousand year old fat obtained from pressing olives. There are many grades and types of olive oil, which contribute flavor profiles to your food and enhance the overall experience.

We usually think of Italian olive oil, followed by Spanish, as the gold standard. Did you know that there are other countries that produce olive oil? Some of the countries include:

Greece

Syria

Tunisia

Turkey

Morocco

Portugual

and more

Black Girls Brew sampled some Tunisian olive oil, which we love, by Terra Delyssa in cooking and in use with bread and herbs. Overall? Recommend! If you see olive oil from any place other than Spain or Italy, give it a try, you'll like it!
