How did you get started - started brewing in 1998. Started making mead. Wife said let's sell this. Wife figured out how to get licensing. does logo, name, labels. Opened 2 years later as small night, weekends. Then founder got laid off. When opened, line around the block. Took side jobs. Built company. Brought friend (homebrewer buddy) trained to take over producción. Focused on sales and r&d
What's your favorite part about brewing - always have an inner any reaction. I was in it before; and there were always people who were upset when they didn't get their requirement. With this it is what it is. Either they like it or they don't.
are you glad that you took this path - I've never been happier.
What is your favorite beer - zombie killer. Before this we were only Doug higher alcohol, non cAbonated meads. This restaurant wanted a cherry mead on kegs. We made 60 bottles a weekend, combined mead with cherries. Apple cider, honey, cherries.
Federally mead is registered as wine. Kicked out of GABF. Registered. It unable to attend. A month of head of time. Called shenanigans. Red stone meaderies was there without a brewing license.
Tríed zombie killer and zombies take Manhattan. Both excellent meads. Really enjoyable. Love the founder. Good guy. Good beer.
